1) Here is another Mexican band here comes the interesting Infernoctum, but things happened in your country there is a crazy scene ...

Well we´ve seen a huge potential in this lands for the metal scene unfortunately there is no support for underground or old bands that play really good, there is a lot of Mexican bands looking for long life term perspective but some times just disappeared very soon. Some times the music produced by this bands is really good or sometimes not at all but at the end we have several proposals that you can choose In this side of the world people see the moon in a different dark pattern that Europe. Catholicism is the major religion in this country and is not black metal fan precisely yet we believe that black metal scene will stay for several centuries. (yeah).

2) What about the dance track "Ritual Dance bloodless" ...
In this track you can listen one improvised dark song which contain low frequencies that are calling into trance. It is hypnotic indeed. Is the result of contemporary music mixed with prehispanic arrangements and Spanish guitars. It was recorded in one shoot during 3 am.

3) bearing the colors of your CD cover and red and black ... these two shades do they represent for you?
Black: Darkness, Red : Violence.
This is visual impact that reflects how music changes between darkness, tranquility and reflections into the hate explosion against traditional precepts. Inferior vibrations were the result of the tonal intention in these shades.
4) When the Infernoctum to put on what were the early targets?

The targets were to establish a rational innovating way of expression in the art field. Some thing different with dark bases of low frequencies. The conjunction was complete and the energy conjugation was in time and space at the right moment. Constant energy flows with great joy creating music transmitting what we feel. It depends on you if you like it or not we respect any kind of musical taste.
5) The word occult as bride in the world Infernoctum?

Occultism? ¿Can we define this word? Is very subjective but real. We see occidental culture with catholic and chaotic bases but we believe that we can search the answer to this existence ,mental emotions ,constant search of truth , this kind of things showed in our songs represent our father and mother universe or beyond.
6) The world is going to collapse with various wars and hate but it unspoiled maybe not better to stop and reflect, that the violence will not lead never get anywhere?

Misanthropy does not mean violence of course , each meditation should increase human behavior and stop wars and killing our race but as you know men has been lost since time ago looking for something that is invisible for this eyes . Violence will lead us to anywhere that for shore but it is necessary to jump this part of human behavior in order to accomplish human evolution.

7) What is the difference between music and art?

Music is only not the only way of art manifestation with expression of certain feelings in time and space. Art is a subjective perspective that posses several ways of evocation like music or painting . We want that people enjoy many times pleasures like listening music with passion, energy, we want that people remember riffs with passion and develop his own personal feeling and most of all that discover the message that we want to send . We are looking for people that feel our energy.

8) What's your sentences for those who finish what you started with this and
interview?

1-Siendo ex-miembros de grandes bandas en León Gto. como Diluvium y Shemhanphorash cómo lo ha tomado la gente?

Creemos que nos han recibido muy bien, y nos han apoyado mucho aquellos que nos conocían, aunque ya teníamos mas de 10 años fuera de la escena y hay muchos que nunca nos habían escuchado o nunca escucharon los nombre de Shemhamphorash y Diluvium. Sin embargo creemos que nuestra propuesta les ha gustado.
2-Sobre su primer material "the Darkinside" cómo fue su proceso de creación, qué encontramos en él?

Al ser el primer demo de la banda, queríamos que fuera un material muy oscuro y con una calidad lo-fi que nos permitiera expresar ese sentimiento, de ahí también el nombre del demo. Otra situación que influyó en este sonido es que realmente no contábamos con equipo y no queríamos pagar un estudio, para que fuera algo mas personal y hacer todo nosotros. Se grabó en una PC, para las guitarras y bajo se utilizaron amplificadores muy pequeños, para la grabación de la batería se utilizaron pocos micrófonos y de regular calidad y no especializados, y la voz se grabaron dos canciones con un micro para pc, que es la The Alchemist y Black Triangle. Todo esto nos funcionó para crear ese sonido y poder explotar esa oscuridad interna que queríamos externar, eso es lo que puedes encontrar en el además de cambios de ánimo que van de la calma a la agresión y odio.
Al final está la improvisación del demo “Danza ritual exangüe” grabada en una toma con guitarra acústica por Alberto, bongós por Alejandro y teclado por Ángel, y realmente es una danza mortal que te hace entrar en trance.

3-Qué puedes decirnos sobre "The sound of the negativity" y el último track que lo compone?

TSON tubo un proceso totalmente diferente a The Darkinside, ya teníamos más tiempo ensayando por lo que había un mayor entendimiento entre los tres, y por lo que el proceso de creación de las canciones todos estuvimos involucrados. Queríamos una mejor grabación y creemos que lo conseguimos, esto era muy importante ya que las canciones lo requerían por la gran cantidad de matizes que manejamos y ser mas complejas, ya que están mas trabajadas. La línea que maneja TSON es muy densa, totalmente misantrópica con toques ocultistas, jugamos mucho con los cambios de ánimo y como el título lo dice estamos molestos con la humanidad y su rol en este plano, The sound of negativity es una crítica al hombre como colectividad.

Y el último track “Diabólica 3:00 a.m.” es nuestra improvisación del demo, queremos que sea una constante en cada material que saquemos, Al igual que “Danza” es una conjugación de energías, es una triangulación de elementos de la banda, realmente te grabó a las 3:00 a.m. en una sola toma con un micrófono ambiental y de baja calidad, simplemente dejamos que fluya la música, lo que nos llega sin pensarlo ni ensayarlo, y pues es una expresión plena de lo que sentimos, por ejemplo las letras eran simplemente frases que iban llegando, entramos como en un estado de trance. Usamos diferentes tipos de instrumentos modernos como prehispánicos.

Estos son los instrumentos que se utilizaron:

Alberto (guitarrista): Batería, palo de lluvia y coyoleras, gritos.
Alejandro (baterista):Teclado y voz al final.
Ángel (vocalista) : Voz, palo de lluvia y manipulación de sonidos con pedalera vocal, teclado al final.
Y de invitado está Josué tocando la guitarra.

4-Llevan dos materiales en poco tiempo y con muy buena producción porqué no se ha hecho una presentación
oficial de estos?
No se ha dado el momento y el espacio, y la falta de un bajista que se acople a la banda.

5-Cuenta sobre la letras y sus miembros, si hay acercamiento con la magía o artes negras?
Las letras en su mayoría son misantrópicas, llenas de agonía, depresión y al mismo tiempo odio, hay otras que optamos por el lado ocultista como Unlighted Matesis Universalis, Black Triangle, The Alchemist es totalmente satanista Laveyista. Y pues infernoctum en sí mismo es una triangulación de energías en momento y espacio que hace arte oscuro, por lo tanto sí. Y magía habría que definir a que nos referimos es un tema muy basto, pero si la pregunta va por el lado de hacer rituales o invocaciones en específico, Infernoctum como entidad hace magia con su música.

6-Sabemos que ya tienen bajísta, fue difícil elegirlo y cómo ha sido trabajar con él?
Jajajaja teníamos, se salió por motivos personales, estábamos trabajando hasta cierto punto a gusto ya que es amigo de tiempo, pero si le costo un poco adaptarse a Infernoctum.

7-No se ha pensado en un segundo guitarrísta permanente o para tocar en directo?
Por el momento no, pero siempre existe la posibilidad.

8-Hay planes de conseguir una disquera o seguirán independientes?

Estamos abiertos a cualquier propuesta y mientras no se concrete nada, nos gusta nuestra independencia y podemos seguir haciendo lo que nos gusta, además de que el internet es una gran herramienta para llevar nuestra música sin necesidad de una disquera que se quiera aprovechar.

9-Para este 2012 que es lo que viene qué podemos esperar de ustedes?
Estamos en el proceso de creación de material nuevo, que esperamos ya empezar a grabar y sacarlo para este año, el título tentativo es “Bajo astral” y esperamos ahora sí hacer una presentación oficial.
